The Cosmetic Plane
 

Slowly things started to look up from the grass where they'd fallen. Doctor Gap drove up to vamp the slaves, who -- in the long opening shot -- were hard pressed just to shield their eyes from his terrible mass-market appeal -- that eyeball-frying charisma with which he terrorized the typing pool & bent history.

"Differences lie," he intoned solemnly, stepping out onto the street to harangue a few unfortunates. Quickly tiring of this, he assembled some heavy equipment to raise the cost of living.
